ARBITRATION CONTINUING EDUCATION

Wellspring offers 8 hour continuing education courses for Property Tax Arbitration which meet the 2 year continuing education requirements for property tax arbitrators.

This course focuses on reviewing the requirements for tax arbitration, arbitration legal changes and updates, and arbitration ethics.

MEDIATION CERTIFICATION

The Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Training for Real Estate Professionals (course #34782) is a 40-hour hybrid learning program consisting of 16 hrs online modules and 24 hrs live instruction that engages real estate professionals in the learning process of mediation, alternative dispute resolution, negotiation, and conflict management. Upon the successful completion of the 40-hour course, each participant will receive certification for civil mediation and qualify as a Texas State Mediator.

PROPERTY TAX ARBITRATION

Texas Realtors has the authority.

to offer training for the Property Tax Arbitrator and has partnered with RRG Consulting for the mediation and alternative dispute resolution training to qualify for the required education for the certified property tax arbitrator. In addition to the Certification of Mediation, those that meet the state requirements as a Property Tax Arbitrator will also receive a completion certificate that can be turned in to the Texas Comptroller's office for credit with your application. Must have 5 years of experience as a real estate agent to arbitrate property taxes.
